Services

Every project is different, and I work closely with directors, developers, and creators to understand exactly what they need for each project I work on.

What I Offer

Film & Television

I score short films, indie features, trailers, and web productions. My background in screen composition means I am comfortable working to picture, hitting sync points precisely, and turning around revisions quickly based on creative direction. I enjoy writing everything from intimate acoustic cues to large-scale hybrid orchestral work. Deliverables include final stereo mixes, stems, cue sheets, and PRS-ready metadata.

Games & Interactive Media

I compose music for games across a range of genres from tense action and stealth to open-world ambience. I understand the technical requirements of adaptive audio and deliver stems, seamlessly loopable files, and layered formats ready for implementation in Wwise, FMOD, or Unity.

Sound Design & Audio Post

Beyond just music, I offer sound design for film and games ranging from bespoke SFX libraries to atmospheric texture work and final mix integration. Due to working within both music and sound design together, i know exactly what is needed to ensure there are no clashes in the final mix.

"Jack was amazing at building a soundtrack to the film, working closely with the director to build a style while injecting his own knowledge into the project. His professionalism and willingness to take feedback elevated the film."

My Process

1. Brief

Every project starts with a conversation. I learn about your vision, reference material, creative direction and any technical requirements so I can understand exactly what the music needs to achieve.

2. Concept

I put together initial sketches and short demos to establish the tone, palette and direction before committing to a full score. This is where we align on feel, instrumentation and style.

3. Production

Once the direction is agreed I compose, arrange and produce the full cues, working to picture or gameplay where applicable. I keep communication open throughout so nothing comes as a surprise.

4. Revisions & Delivery

I build in rounds of feedback so you can request adjustments before final delivery. The finished music is mixed, mastered and exported in whatever format your project requires.

What You Receive

Final Mixes

Polished, broadcast-ready stereo mixes in WAV, AIFF or MP3, delivered at the sample rate and bit depth your project needs.

Stems & Layers

Separated instrument groups so your audio team or game engine can balance, duck or cross-fade elements at runtime. Especially useful for adaptive game audio.

Loops & Alternate Edits

Seamlessly loopable versions, stingers, transitions and alternate lengths tailored to your implementation needs.

Revision Rounds

All commissions include revision rounds so you can fine-tune the music until it fits your project perfectly. Feedback is part of the process, not an afterthought.

Common Questions

Do you write to picture?

Yes I'm comfortable working from a locked or rough cut, spotting cues, hitting sync points, and adjusting to editorial changes throughout the process.

Can I license existing tracks?

Some tracks from my back catalogue are available for licensing. Get in touch with details about your project and intended use and I'll let you know what's possible.

What formats do you deliver?

Final stereo mixes in WAV or AIFF at your required sample rate and bit depth, plus stems, cue sheets, and loop-ready files where applicable. I'll confirm the exact spec before we start.

How many revisions are included?

Every commission includes revision rounds as standard. The exact number depends on the scope of the project and will be agreed upfront. I keep communication open throughout so revisions are rarely a surprise.
